Alaska Comes to the Mid-Atlantic!

Alaska? Sure looks like it and feels like it too, with temps falling into the single digits. Think maybe Yukon had something to do with this wintery weather? Afterall, he is from Alaska.

A beautiful snowy night

Early morning accumulation, with another 3-5" expected.

Mr. Yukon, snug and warm in the kitchen. He doesn't care if it snows!

Winter is Wonderful!

Especially if you are a polar bear. So maybe we don't have polar bears here in the Mid-Atlantic region, but we have Shiloh babies that sure resemble polar bear cubs.

The Coz/Kohl litter has five white babies and two dual babies that are too cute for words. Take a look at Mr Silver. We have nicknamed this boy Banat, which means "Bold as a Bear".
Fits him, don't you think?

Wishing You a Wonderous Holiday Season!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. ~Anonymous

To me, the above saying speaks volumes. And to see these pictures, I can say I gasped with amazement! They definitely took my breath away.
I knew that Grace, our Foxy daughter had the potential to produce some incredible pups but never in my widest dreams did I expect such breath-taking beauty.

Atreyu, who resides in Canada, is maturing into an all masculine shepherd that will definitely turn heads....and he is only 15 months old! Just imagine what he is going to look like at the age of three! And to think he has already passed his health testing!
This is a boy that we are going to be watching very closely. Bred properly, I see exactly what I was aiming for, the recreation of our Foxy, a true old line Shiloh.

Enjoy the pictures, and beware, you may need a towel!

The Beauty of Autumn

October can be a beautiful month here. Bright blue cloudless skies, crsip morning air and the flaming shades of orange, red and yellow leaves.
Add a couple of Shilohs, and look out! Pictures galore!

Look at this picture of Sera, our Allie/Grizz daughter, laying outside, enjoying the autumn air. This was taken mid-October 2009.

Here is Conagher, beside a local lake, enjoying the crisp cool autumn air. The trees are just starting to turn colors in this shot, taken the first part of October 2009.
